The Silicone Fibre Ring Cushion is a circular shaped seat cushion that helps relieve pressure and reduces friciton and shear that might otherwise lead to pressure injury.
The cushion is ideal for pain following an opeation, discomfort from haemorrhoids, hip bursitis or general coccyx relief and support.
It's made from silicone coated cylindrical fibres that are specially designed to retain their loft and not to flatten from prolonged use. Its shape helps to keep air flowing around the skin's surface, keeping it healthy and regulating your temperature.
The cushion offers good support and comfort while the special silicone coating helps reduce friction and shear, which are the two factors that contribute to the risk of a pressure ulcer.
