Overview:

This policy outlines the warranty coverage for products sold by Active Mobility Systems. The products we offer are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, and any claims related to defects or issues with the product will be addressed according to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Please read this policy carefully to understand how warranties are handled.

  1. Warranty Coverage:

All products sold by Active Mobility Systems come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The terms, conditions, and duration of the warranty will be determined by the manufacturer and are specified in the warranty documentation that accompanies the product.

  2. Manufacturer Warranty Terms:

Active Mobility Systems adheres solely to the manufacturer’s warranty and does not offer additional warranties or guarantees beyond what is provided by the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s warranty may include repair, replacement, or refund as determined by the manufacturer’s policy. We strongly encourage customers to review the manufacturer’s warranty information for specific details on coverage, exclusions, and how to make a claim by contacting our technical support team through repairs@activemobility.com.au

  3. Warranty Claims:

    1. If a product is found to be defective or malfunctions within the warranty period, customers should contact Active Mobility System directly or follow the instructions outlined in the warranty documentation.
    2. Active Mobility Systems will assist with providing the necessary documentation or proof of purchase if required, but all warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer’s approval and decision.
    3. We are not responsible for any costs associated with shipping, repairs, or replacement unless specified by the manufacturer.
    4. Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for any delays or issues in processing warranty claims due to third-party actions, including manufacturer delays, shipping delays, or other external factors.

  4. Manufacturer’s Decision:

The manufacturer’s decision regarding any warranty claim, including whether the product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded, is final. Active Mobility Systems has no influence over the manufacturer’s warranty decisions and will comply with the manufacturer’s policies. We do not have any authority to approve or override the manufacturer’s decision.

  5. Warranty Exclusions:

Warranty coverage may not apply in the following circumstances:

    1. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
    2. Products with altered or removed serial numbers.
    3. Damage caused by improper installation or use in environments not specified by the manufacturer.
    4. Unauthorized repairs or alterations to the product.
    5. Products that have been used beyond their intended purpose or outside the recommended specifications by the manufacturer.

  6. No Additional Warranty by Active Mobility Systems:

Active Mobility Systems does not provide any additional warranties or guarantees beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. We are not liable for any defects, damages, or issues that fall outside the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Our liability is limited solely to the terms provided by the manufacturer, and we are not liable for any additional costs or damages.

  7. Limitation of Liability:

To the extent permitted by law, Active Mobility Systems shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability is limited to the warranty provided by the manufacturer. Under no circumstances will Active Mobility Systems be responsible for any loss of profits, business interruption, or other indirect losses.

  8. Proof of Purchase:

All warranty claims must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase, warranty claims will not be processed. Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for maintaining or providing records of past purchases beyond the standard documentation we issue at the time of sale.

  9. Warranty Period:

The warranty period is set by the manufacturers and varies by product. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are aware of the warranty terms. Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for notifying customers of the expiration of any warranty periods.

  10. No Responsibility for Third-Party Services:

Active Mobility Systems will not be responsible for any third-party services or repairs. Customers who choose to use third-party repair services are doing so at their own risk, and such repairs may void any remaining warranty coverage from the manufacturer.

  11. Shipping Costs and Responsibilities:

Any product that requires return for warranty purposes is the responsibility of the customer to ship to Active Mobility Systems or request a service job unless otherwise specified.

  12. Warranty Transferability:

The manufacturer’s warranty is generally non-transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser. Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for warranty claims by second-hand purchasers or owners of the product.

  13. Change in Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms:

Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for any changes made by the manufacturer to the terms, conditions, or duration of the warranty after the product has been sold. Any changes to the manufacturer’s warranty will be the responsibility of the manufacturer.

  14. Policy Updates:

Active Mobility Systems reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on our website, and the updated policy will apply to future transactions. It is the responsibility of the customer to review this policy periodically.

  15. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes regarding warranty claims or product defects will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution policies of the manufacturer. Active Mobility Systems is not responsible for handling disputes outside the scope of the manufacturer’s policies.

  16. General service jobs:

General service jobs for equipment purchased from Active Mobility Systems are excluded from warranty coverage. Customers are responsible for all associated costs, including service fees, labour, call-out charges, and parts. For more information, please contact Active Mobility Systems.
