The JAY Ion wheelchair cushion offers comfortable, convenient and quality skin protection and positioning. Composed from a multi-layered foam base, moisture resistant inner cover and anti-microbial outer cover.

Dual-Layered Foam Base with Varying Firmness

The Ion features a dual-layered foam base for a combination of structural support and comfort.

The firmness of the foam is determined by the cushion's width, which directly corresponds with the weight of the client; this ensures optimal immersion for each individual.

Visco Memory Foam Top Layer

The Ion's top layer uses Visco memory foam which conforms to each individual while distributing their weight over a larger area. This reduces pressure while maximising comfort.

Innovative, Dual-Cover System

For both convenience and protection, the Ion uses a dual-cover system. The inner cover is water resistant and easy to maintain while the foam base are protected from fulids because of an Aqua-guard zipper and anti-wicking thread.

The stretch outer cover is machine-washable and reduces surfacxe tension while utilising natrually anti-microbial fibre. There is also a layer of 3DX spacer fabric that promotes airflow and dissiptates heat and moisture for additional skin protection.
